A legal awareness camp was organized in the village of West Dewanpasha on October 10 at 4PM onward with the initiative of the Paschm Dewanpasha Village Legal Care and Support Center and with the help of North Tripura District Police.

The awareness camp was presided over by Smt. Niyati Das, Pradhan Paschim Dewanpasha Gram Panchayat. Shri: Bhanupad Chakraborty, S.P, North District was present as the Chief Guest. Mr. Rajiv Sutradhar, Sub-divisional Police Officer, Dharmanagar and Mr. Milon Dutta, Officer Incharge, Dharmanagar Police Station also present as a Guest speaker . At the commencement of the ceremony, Mr Gopika Kanta Dutta, the Para Legal Volunteer, gave a detailed discussion on issues related to free legal services. Today’s awareness camp was notable in the presence of mass general public mostly women of local area.
