Today 11 July 2023, World Population Day is celebrated all over the world. As a part of this, awareness postering was done across Dharmanagar city under the initiative of District Legal Services Authority, North Tripura, Dharmanagar and an awareness camp was held at Ramnagar Bazaar under Panisagar sub-division to create awareness among the public. Advocate, Mr. Hemkanti Debnath and Para Legal Volunteer, Mr. Gopika Kant Dutta were present as the main speakers in the said awareness camp.








The purpose of celebrating this special day is to make people aware of the growing population issues. Growing population around the world is causing many serious problems. Population of any country is considered as human resource, but uncontrolled population can be a big problem for that country. As a result of this situation like illiteracy, unemployment, poverty and starvation are also appearing in the country. But it is not that the country lacks resources to cope with the growing population. If anything is lacking it is 'awareness'.
