GK Dutta began his journey as a Social Worker in 2001 and has remained committed to the cause ever since. Over the years, he has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous national and international voluntary and human rights organizations, gaining valuable experience and insight along the way.
In 2013, he joined the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee in Dharmanagar as a Para Legal Volunteer (PLV). In this role, he focused on reaching out to marginalized communities in rural areas, aiming to raise awareness about the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. He actively educated people about their legal rights and the support available through the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), helping them understand how to access free legal aid and claim their entitlements.

    In 2018, he was awarded with Sub Divisional Best Para Legal Volunteer by the Tripura State Legal Services Authority.

    In 2019, he was awarded with State Best Para Legal Volunteer by the National Legal Services Authority for his utmost commitment and excellent work in the area of legal service activities.
