Gopika Kanta Dutta (GK Dutta) began his journey as a Social Worker in 2001 and has remained committed to the cause ever since.
Over the years he has collaborated with numerous national and international voluntary and human rights organizations.
In 2013 he joined the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee in Dharmanagar, North Tripura as a Para Legal Volunteer (PLV).
He actively raised awareness about the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 and helped rural communities understand their legal rights through the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
