On July 31, 2025, a Village Legal Care & Support Center was formally inaugurated at East Tilthai Gram Panchayat under the Jubarajnagar RD Block, through the initiative and management of the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, Dharmanagar. The event was graced by Advocate Piklu Debnath.
The primary objective of this center is to provide free legal advice and assistance to the residents of East Tilthai Gram Panchayat and neighboring villages. Many rural citizens are often unaware of legal processes and their rights, resulting in denial of justice. This initiative is a significant step toward bridging that gap and ensuring access to justice for all.
The Village Legal Care & Support Center will remain open every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Additionally, Smt. Mandira Shil will serve as the Para Legal Volunteer, playing a key role in assisting local residents with legal support.
