On 11th November 2025, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), North Tripura, observed National Education Day with great enthusiasm by organizing a District-Level Essay Writing Competition and a Rally at Tarakpur Higher Secondary School under Kadamtala RD Block. The event aimed to promote awareness about the significance of education and to encourage students to reflect on the values and vision of India’s first Education Minister, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as National Education Day.

Simultaneously, the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee (SDLSC), Dharmanagar, North Tripura, conducted a Sub-Division Level Speech Competition and Rally at Fulbari Higher Secondary School. Both events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and members of the legal fraternity.
The sessions were graced by Advocate Debashree Bhattacharjee (Dhar) and Advocate Piklu Debnath, who served as Resource Persons. They highlighted the indispensable role of education in ensuring social justice, equality, and empowerment, while also emphasizing the importance of legal awareness among the youth.
To ensure smooth coordination and participation, Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) Sri Rabin Bhowmik from DLSA and Sri Sanjib Barua from SDLSC, extended their valuable support in organizing and managing the activities.

The program successfully conveyed the message that education is not merely a means to acquire knowledge, but also a tool to build responsible citizens who can contribute to a just and informed society. Through such initiatives, DLSA and SDLSC, North Tripura, continue to strengthen their commitment towards spreading legal and educational awareness among the youth.
